11-16: Unions in America. Good Deeds and Batkid.

Unions in America may not be such a great thing, good deeds continually being punished and BatKid the hero are some of today's topics.

Unions in America

Union buster Robert Cuccinotta and Right to Work's Dan Mirod discuss some of the pros and cons of unions in America. The discussion gets very spirited and lively - especially when a union member who lost his health benefits and then contracted cancer calls in.

BatKid

Miles Scott - a five-year-old who has battled leukemia since he was a baby - helped save San Francisco from the Penguin and Riddler on Friday. The Make-a-Wish Foundation made it happen and Gotham on the bay can sleep easier thanks to Batman and Batkid.

Good Deeds

We've talked about Erin Cox, the high school student who was punished for being a sober driver. In the September 28th episode, the Wise Guys discussed Andrew Anderson who was fired from Goodwill Industries after giving discounts to underprivileged people. Now, James Brady of Hackensack, NJ, was denied his welfare benefits after turning in $850 he found on the street. Listen to what happened - and why America is becoming the place where good deeds are no longer welcome.
