Angelo’s and Vinci’s Ristorante in Orange County, California, hosted the event. The place is so authentic, Nicky praised it as “just like being at my grandmother’s house!”

Angelo’s and Vinci’s owner, the beautiful Cynthia Peck, created a special menu for the day – and even named items after each wise guy!  She sat down with the Wise Guys to tell them about the restaurant’s storied history, décor, and tells them what her favorite Italian dishes are.

War hero Colonel Steve Heywood – featured in the book Hammer from Above: Marine Air Combat Over Iraq -- was named the episode’s Stand-up Person of the Week.

Lorenzo Abundiz of Code 3 for a Cure joined the guys for a segment - and they announced that their drive to donate half of their online sales proceeds to Code 3 will continue through the end of the year. That means whenever you buy something through WiseGuysRadioShow.com -- for example, click the Amazon.com link or banner and complete a purchase during that shopping session -- the Wise Guys will donate 50% of their commission to Code 3. Lorenzo told us about the foundation and their poker event in Las Vegas next month.
